English Tuition: Ages 11-18

Older teenagers face an intense schedule of public examinations from GCSE to AS and A-Level or IGCSE to IB. Younger teens have Common Entrance to contend with.

Recent Results:
GCSE and A-Level tutees raised their grades from C to A - even D to A in one case.

With Common Entrance tuition, tutees gained places at their first choice schools, despite initially troubling grades. Schools include: Stowe, Brighton College, Hurstpierpoint, and Ardingly College.

Whatever You Need Your teenager might be struggling, or they might be need to be stretched. If you've been helping them, perhaps you need a break.

You set the pace. Choose to focus on exams, build fluency or explore the beauty of language and literature. Or you might want to find out more about applying to Oxford or Cambridge. Gain the expertise of an outstanding teacher, Oxford graduate tutor, and a current GCSE examiner.

If your child is Dyslexic, I can help with interesting, uniquely pitched lessons that have delivered astonishing results.

Getting Ready for Exams
We work on exam technique from past papers. Students become familiar with the mark scheme, model answers and what they're expected to do. Exam technique is the key.

Never believe the myth that 'you can't revise English'. The same core concepts appear every year. We work out a strong revision programme with extra support during the holidays and study leave before exams.
